Native American flute playing classes in Sun Lakes

Are you a fan of Carlos Nikai’s music? If so, you have heard the beautiful, lyrical sounds of the Native American flute. They evoke within us the beauty of nature and profound feelings of peace, joy and love. Would you like to learn to play a Native American flute or purchase one? You will have that opportunity on January 10 by attending a class at 10:00 a.m. at Cottonwood Country Club, in Room A-3. The class is taught by Armand and Angelina, a visiting musical duo.

It’s not necessary to bring a flute. Practice flutes and protective lip pieces will be available. Flutes are available for sale as well. In fact, no experience or musical talent is necessary to play these “error free” flutes. Suggested flute class offering is $20. The class is sponsored by Unity of Sun Lakes and will last approximately 75 to 90 minutes.

If you would like to enjoy a classical pop musical concert featuring Armand and Angelina, please attend the 6:30 p.m. concert on January 9 at The Phoenix Room (A-9) in Cottonwood Country Club. Call 602-309-1818 for more information.
