Our league schedule has finally settled into a regular Friday play day at Oakwood with a 7:00 a.m. shotgun start. I would be remiss if I did not remind you that change is the natural order of things, so sign up for three weeks in advance and then check the schedule frequently for any changes in location, time, etc. Since our Web Master Mike Stegina is keeping you all up to date via group messages and postings on our website, it is also important to open your email from the league and check the site for announcements.
I am saddened to report the passing of former member Daniel D. Quinn. Dan was a big guy with a big laugh, a retired Chicago firefighter and an old friend. Our deepest condolences are extended to his wife Penny and his daughter Peggy.
