The holidays are right around the corner, and the Board of the IronOaks Nine Hole Golf Association wishes each of our members a very Merry Christmas, a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year and a Happy Hanukkah. May the lights of the holidays bring peace and happiness to your homes and families.
It is my sad duty to report the passing of one of our longtime members. Our friend and fellow golfer Richard Funk passed away on November 6, 2018, at his home. Rich enjoyed his 15 years as a “Niner;” the golf, the conversation and the breakfast after the game. We offer our deepest condolences to Richard’s wife Darlene, sons Paul Funk and Mark Funk and daughters Betsy Vogel and Pam Dorman.
