Chandler Center for the Arts today announced that Ocotillo Golf Resort will serve as a sponsor of the Center’s 2016-17 season of performances, exhibits and cultural experiences.

“Ocotillo Golf Resort is excited to partner with the Chandler Center for the Arts’ 27th season,” said Deborah Hoogestraat, owner of Ocotillo Golf Resort. “This facility has a storied history of bringing delight and wonder to all patrons, world-class creative learning to young aspiring artists and inspiring leadership skills to tomorrow’s professionals.”

Chandler-based Ocotillo Golf Resort’s sponsorship provides funding that supports the daily activities of Chandler Center for the Arts and the Vision Gallery which serve more than 300,000 people annually. Close to the golf facility’s heart is the Connecting Kidz program, which now serves more than 5,000 youths each year through theatre camps, art workshops, matinee performances and the Youth Advisory Council.

“The arts have always played an important role in the education of young people and community development,” said Michelle Mac Lennan, General Manager of the Chandler Center for the Arts. “Ocotillo Golf Resort’s continued support will help us continue to showcase the arts in our community and allow our Center to be that driving force through our programs.”
