December was a busy month. We installed our new officers for 2020: President Debbie Horner, Vice President Mary Dyrseth, Secretary Julie Hastings, and Treasurer Colleen Ritter. We thank you all for serving in these important positions.

We want to congratulate Susan Pederson for being the most-improved golfer for 2019. That is a very special award. Also, congratulations to Sharon Bowditch for winning the State medallion 1st low gross and to Suzie Lynch for 1st low net. Great job, girls.

We had our member-member tournament. The winners were Flight 1: 1st Joan Hammon and Karen Jenson, 2nd Sharon Bowditch and Cathi Pospisil; Flight 2: 1st Connie Harper and Doris Swanson tied with Susie Lynch and Dang Teater; Flight 3: 1st Kathy Burns and Karen Fager, 2nd Leann Know and Maryann Woodward tied with Robin Thomas and Suzie Willey. It was a fun day.

We are having our Charity Tournament on Jan. 14. Our charity is Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. Come and join the fun and help the county animals. There will be a lunch and presentation after golf.
