Our Program Director, Diane Thackray, decided we needed to add a little bit of posh to Tuesday afternoons. Considering her British background she naturally thought of an afternoon tea. We were all delighted with the idea which resulted in turning out the china cups and saucers and table cloths. It was decided by the participants strawberry preserves and scones would be an appropriate addition to the herbal tea served. It was great to see everyone so pleased with their tasty decisions.

Tuesday afternoon was added to our schedule because some of our caregivers enjoy the bridge and companionship offered every Tuesday afternoon. This is the Sun Lakes Duplicate Bridge Club held in the Fellowship Hall at Risen Savior Lutheran Church.

The Perfect Place is located on the campus of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Sun Lakes. We are a non-profit faith-based adult care center. Our volunteers are knowledgeable of Alzheimer’s, dementia, developmental disabilities and various adult neurological challenges. Most of us have had a loved one for whom we were a caregiver. We enjoy what we do.
