Perfect Place volunteers receive training periodically which is also open to caregivers, care receivers and the community. Join us on Friday, September 8, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Our presenter will be Gomonnie Olegba, a local dental hygiene student discussing Dental Hygiene for Older Adults. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and refreshments will be served.

Save the Date … November 11 … The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting its 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the Wesley Bolin Plaza, 1700 W. Washington Street in Phoenix. The Perfect Place is located on the campus of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Sun Lakes. We are a nonprofit, faith-based, adult care center. Our volunteers are knowledgeable of Alzheimer’s, dementia, developmental disabilities and various adult neurological challenges. Most of us have had a loved one for whom we were a caregiver. We enjoy what we do.
