In this edition, we start with our Fun Day Charity Event and annual auction on February 14. As all monies went to charity there were no winners or losers. The afternoon group played a team Scramble format and the winning team was Arnie Bannerman, Jim Wedeward, Dan Savard and Budd Livingstone.

The morning of February 21 saw the conclusion of our Home and Home competition with Fountain of the Sun Country Club which started at FOSCC on the 17th. This format is where two members from each club compete as a team. The winning team with a two day total of 194 was Bob Mansfield and Milt Olsen of Palo Verde and Jim Kugel and Dick Root of Fountain of the Sun. The afternoon group played a Select-A-Drive, Two Best Balls Net format and with a winning score of 80 was the team of Don Grossart, Jeff Martin, Dave Gehlbach and Budd Livingstone.

The morning of February 28 was the first round of the PVMGA Club Championship. The afternoon group played a Two Best Balls Net format and the winning team with a total score of 100 was Dick Zierman, Frank Broley, Dan Bottiglieri and Dave Holiday.

On March 7 we concluded our Club Championship. Our winner and 2015 Club Champion is Jerry Davis with a two day gross of 129 and the 2015 Runner-Up is Jack Hill with a two day total of 136.

The afternoon group played a One Best Ball Net format and the winning team with a net 45 was Jim Wedeward, Royal Carlson, Ivan Shaw and Dave Holaday.

The month of April sees our full complement of players dwindling as our winter neighbors start heading back to their summer homes for the season. April 4 will be a Select-A-Drive – Three Best Balls Net format for both the morning and afternoon groups. April 11 will be a One Gross Plus One Net (Ace of Aces qualifier) format for both the morning and afternoon groups. On April 18 we will conclude our Home and Home with SunBird Country Club which begins on the 16th at SBCC. The afternoon group will play a Scramble format.

On April 25 and 26 in the morning we will be playing our annual Ryder Cup Championship against Cottonwood Country Club. The afternoon group will play a Two Best Ball Net format.
