“But it’s a dry heat…”

It’s amazing how many of us keep on keeping on! Looking back at events that took place in cooler days:

Early May saw the following 2016 Palo Verde Men’s Match Play flight champions: 1 Dave Tjosvold, 2 Cliff Joyes, 3 Dan Bottiglieri, 4 Jeff Martin, 5 Ivan Shaw.

The May 14 Two Man Team One Best Ball Net event was won by Flight 1 John Mitchell and Tony Forbes, Flight 2 Adrian Barber and Joe Klouda.

On May 21, a Two Best-Ball Net (Ace of Aces) was won by Daryl Ramseyer, Tom Jeub, Dennis Grendahl and Wally Cornelius with a score of 93!

May 28 winners of a Triple Six contest, with a score of 83 were David Florence, Tony Huffman, Jerry Lofquist and Larry Chidester.

During the early morning hours on June 4, a four-man Scramble was won with a score of 35-1/4. The victors were Bud Murray, Jim Wedeward, Milt Olsen and Jim Davis.
