And the beat goes on – as representatives of Reach Out Sun Lakes continue making their monthly pickups of donated foods and cash contributions for the Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank of Chandler. Shown here are at the site of the October pickup from the Sun Lakes Bridge Club are (left to right) Reach Out Sun Lakes co-founder Ellen Engel, a resident of Sun Lakes Country Club; Jeanne and Howard Lundgren, collectors, both of whom not only handle the collections but have also volunteered onsite at the Food Bank itself; and contributor Ed Schmidt, who was also one of the early active members of the Reach Out movement.
