Restless Minds will consider current issues

Restless Minds will wander when the Sun Lakes discussion group meets for its February meeting. The discussion will focus on a wide range of current event topics.

The group will meet from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9 in the Sewing Room of Oakwood’s Arts and Crafts Center. All people with open, inquisitive minds are welcome. The organization has no dues or membership requirements. Just show up and participate in the always lively discussion.

Because the group will meet on the night of the New Hampshire presidential primaries and a week after the Iowa caucuses, discussion participants are sure to be discussing the early results and future prospects in the presidential race.

Discussion leader Bill Gates said projects and issues mentioned in President Obama’s last State of the Union address also will be discussed. ISIS, North Korea and other foreign policy issues are other likely agenda items.

Discussion participants are invited to bring their own outlooks for 2016.

Restless Minds meets on the second Tuesday of each month, September through May. For more information on the group, call Bill Gates or Bobbie Reed at 480-883-7410.
