The February business meeting of the Sun Lakes Roadrunner RV Club will be held on February 14, 2019, instead of the typical second Tuesday of the month. Coffee and cookies will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room at the Sun Lakes Country Club. The change is due to a scheduled power outage.

Seventy-four members gathered at the Palo Verde Country Club on December 4, 2018, for the club’s annual Christmas party. The group enjoyed socializing at the cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner and entertainment by Thaddeus Rose.

The club welcomed new members and continued rally planning at its business meeting on January 9, 2019. At the end of each meeting, Club members enjoy telling “Trail Twister” stories about silly things that happen while out on their RV trips. The annual “Pinhead Award” was presented to Paul Jarvi by Jim Ruddy. The silly award of an old bowling pin bears the name of the annual recipient who had the most unusual RV experiences over the past year.

The Sun Lakes Roadrunners RV Club meets the second Tuesday of each month in the Navajo Room at the Sun Lakes Country Club. For more information about the club and its fun activities, go to www.roadrunnersrvclub.com. Prospective members and visitors are welcome.
