Norm Noble

Wayne Johnson, Charter Member of the Sun Lakes Rotary Club (1986) and Past Club President, was named Rotarian of the Month for October. Over the past 30 years, Wayne has been a tireless and devoted member, content to work behind the scenes to make certain everything works smoothly during our meetings – which includes transforming the Oakwood ballroom into a Rotary Club – and then restoring it to its original configuration. Wayne and his wife Anne live in Cottonwood. They have four children and five grandchildren.

Wayne received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and served throughout his working years as an office manager, traffic manager, and purchasing agent for companies in the Illinois area. He has been a Rotarian since 1956. During the Korean War, he was in the USAF Strategic Air Command.
