Our Summer League is well underway and will continue through Sept. 19. Our four-team league plays doubleheaders every Tuesday and Thursday morning. In order to try to “beat the heat,” the first pitch is at 7:30 a.m. Bring your sunscreen and come by the field to watch our guys “sweat it out”!
At our annual social event, 2023-24 award winners were announced. This year’s winners were as follows:

Lady Sluggers Sportsperson of the Year: Trudy Hall
Steve Hilby Spirit of Sun Lakes Softball Award: Ron Carmichael
The Spirit of Sun Lakes Softball Award was established in 2010 to recognize those members who go “above and beyond” in supporting our program. Award winners are selected based upon their outstanding dedication, initiative, and service to our organization. The award was renamed the Steve Hilby Spirit of Sun Lakes Softball Award this past year in honor of the late Steve Hilby who served our organization in many capacities over the years and whose contributions to our program were immeasurable.
Officers and board members for the 2024-25 program year were recently elected. They are President Doug Warwick, Vice President Vern Rodgers, Secretary Cyndy Hilby, Treasurer Larry Wolfe, and Members-at-Large Dave Kratz, Bob Molter, and Randall Neumann.
