The Scandinavian Club meets in the Arizona Room at Sun Lakes Country Club. It is open to all who have an interest in the history and culture of Scandinavia. In November we were entertained by Scandinavian Dancers demonstrating steps that many of us only wish we could do. On December 14 the Sun Lakes Chordaires will entertain us at 7:00 p.m. and then ask us to sing along for a medley of Christmas songs.

But first, we will begin the evening at 5:00 p.m. with an open bar social hour featuring pickled herring with crackers and cheese. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet friends and neighbors and those who have a similar interest and to share some Scandinavia culture. This year we are having a full service meal at 6:00 p.m. with a choice of two entrees for a cost of $13. Membership, at a cost of $15, is required. Members are welcome to bring non-member guests at $13 each.

Reservations were required to be made no later than Tuesday, November 9. You can get on our mailing list to be kept informed of club activities. To get on the list go to  www.tiny.cc/scanclubnl.
