Whether you play Canasta, Bridge, Mah-Jongg, Scrabble or Rummikube, you will want to attend the annual Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood Card Party. It will take place on Monday, February 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Oakwood Country Club. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. This annual fundraiser donates to many local charities.

The $35.00 entry fee includes a delicious buffet lunch. Don’t forget about our signature gift baskets, dine around gift certificates, cash raffle and the tantalizing treats at our bake sale. Award-winning Canadian poet Merle Nudelman will be our speaker at our January 17 meeting at the Sun Lakes Chapel House at 1:00 p.m. She will discuss her book of poems, tracing a woman’s healing emotional and spiritual journey after the loss of her beloved son to cancer. Built on a life-long love of writing, Nudelman’s poems are composed of carefully-chosen and deeply-honest words.
