The Sun Lakes Community Church choir invites the community to their presentation of Come Messiah King on Sunday, December 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel, 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. N., across the street from Sun Lakes Country Club.

The musical, written and composed by Randy Vader, Jay Rouse and Rose Aspinall, gives a fresh encounter with the everlasting Christmas story including a multi-media aspect. It will be directed by Gene Cline.

Guest soloist, Jesse Washington, will be singing two lead solo parts in Come Messiah King and The Kings Came Calling. Jesse, a baritone-tenor, has an extensive vocal background. He has performed in light operas, various cantatas, variety and musical shows and had a stint with the San Francisco Opera Company. Other vocal soloists from the choir are Nancy Smith and Del Main.

Several others will be a part of the instrumental ensemble including Dee Norling on oboe, BJ VanNoy with percussion and Jeanette Cline, accompanist on piano/keyboard.

Nancy Moline-leader, Rachel Murray, Pamela Bader and Lura Olander will be featured in the choreographed musical selection, Yahweh, Hear Our Pleas.

The musical is the messianic story of hope that will capture the heart again.
