Happenings at the Sun Lakes Country Club Library
2015 is off to a busy start here in Sun Lakes. Hopefully, by now you have had time to read that latest best seller you received as a holiday gift.
When you read a good book, the memory of it lingers long after you have put it on your book shelf. Why not share that memory with your neighbors, including those at SunBird and Springfield; it is likely a book that others will also enjoy. Then please think about making a donation to our library at the Sun Lakes Country Club before that book is tucked away.
Our books are available to you during clubhouse hours and best sellers can be checked out from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. daily, with variable hours on Sunday. We gladly take requests for books that have already been checked out. Stop by soon.

UpTown Art Painting Class and Happy Hour

Location: Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club
Cost: $23 per person
Join us for an afternoon of painting and drinks with your friends! UpTown Art brings painting to you with an all-inclusive class that will allow you to leave with your very own masterpiece. The cost of the event includes all the materials you will need, personalized instruction and a complimentary glass of wine. Follow along as an UpTown Artist leads the entire class through painting the selected event picture.
Not an artist? That’s okay! The instructors are there to make it easy for you to follow along and will help individuals as needed.
A cash bar will be available for additional alcoholic beverages. Bring your best friend and buy a bottle of wine to share or purchase drinks by the glass.

Team Trivia is a live hosted trivia game. Play as a solo player or bring your friends to lend a helping hand or mind. Compete against other teams for prizes! Our categories include everything from history, TV, sports, geography, music and just about anything else you can think of. So if you want to show your competition how smart you are this is your chance! And maybe, just maybe, you’ll win a prize for playing.
There is no cost or obligation to play. All materials will be provided free of charge. Just bring yourself and a desire to have some fun! There will be a cash bar available and a chance to win prizes and enter to win the 50/50 raffle!
