Sun Lakes Drum Circle

The Sun Lakes Drum Circle will plan to meet at the Veterans Oasis Park for our March drum circle. The February date was a bit too cool to have it outside, so we had the circle at the Sun Lakes Country Club Friendship Room. In anticipation for perfect weather in April, we hope you can join us for the drum circle on April 17 at the Veterans Oasis Park at 6:30 p.m. until around 8:00 p.m. We will be celebrating Earth Day that takes place on April 22.

Our Drum Circle meets on the Wednesday the week of the full moon each month. We celebrate our bonds with Mother Earth and all of humanity. We create space in our world for the intentions of all people. We ask for peace among all the people, everywhere. We do drum, rattle and ring bells for stress relief and for our health and that of all beings.

Bring your chairs, drums and instruments to the Veterans Oasis Park at 6:30 p.m. on April 17. The park is located at Lindsey and Chandler Heights, northeast corner. We meet close to the education center. If the weather is going to be too bad, the inside venue will be the place to come. That would be the Sun Lakes Country Club Friendship Room.

For more information or to be on our email list, you can email [email protected] or call Julia Norton at 480-823-7410.

The Chandler Drum Circle started back up in January. They meet at the Chandler Library every first Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Bart Salzman started this back up, and they have been fun. Frank Thompson facilitated the past two and does a great job keeping us going. You can see more on www.facebook.com/chandlerdrumcircle.
