Members of the Sun Lakes Garden Club work on the Chapel garden.

The topic for our April program is “Low Water Gardens Can be More Than Rocks and Cactus.” Cathy Rymer, Water Conservation Coordinator for the City of Chandler, will be our speaker. She is a Master Gardener and has been gardening in the East Valley for many years. She will show us how to have a beautiful garden with a large variety of plants which look good to people and are attractive to birds and butterflies as well. She will bring brochures and pamphlets to hand out that will help with planning watering systems and plant selection.

Our meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19 at Chapel House in Sun Lakes. We welcome guests at our meeting. If you want more information or are interest in becoming a member of the Sun Lakes Garden Club, please contact Nancy Sjolin at 883-3411 or visit our website at www.sunlakesgardenclub.com.
