On March 29, the Sun Lakes Lady Niners golfed for Rally for a Cure. This event honored all those who have survived cancer or who presently have cancer. A light lunch was served after golfing. Several prizes were awarded. Many of these were items donated by the Rally for a Cure organization.

There will be an awards banquet on April 9 in the Navajo Room. Social hour begins at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m. Winners of the two tournaments will be recognized. For the President’s Cup the five lowest net league scores will be taken from the current season to determine the winners. Awards are given for first, second and third place. For the Club Championship the five lowest gross scores will be taken from the current season to determine the winners. Awards are given for Overall Club Champion and for first place in each flight.

There is a group of Niners who golf on Fridays. If you are interested, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board by Tuesday. If you sign up and decide not to play, call the Pro Shop to cancel.
