Perhaps you’ve been thinking of playing a little golf this fall and meeting new people in the community. There is a special place for you to golf, have fun and socialize with a group of friendly ladies. It is the Sun Lakes Lady Niners Golf League. This league is a smaller group, including ladies of all ages (young and “older”) who prefer to play only nine holes of golf on Tuesdays. Membership dues are $35 which are due by November 1. Besides golfing, there are other fun activities offered. You do have a couple of months to be thinking of joining. League play begins November 14 at noon following our first fall general meeting at 10:00 a.m. that morning in the Friendship Room.

On October 28, a Welcome Back Brunch will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Mulligans. This is a good opportunity to get to know some of the ladies and be informed about the league. According to Golf Pro Rick Howell, there is space available for ladies to golf any day this summer, except Thursdays and before 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. This is a great golf course, quite challenging and reasonable golf fees.
