The February 28 Home & Home at SunBird was well attended, and our thanks go to the ladies for an exceptional day of golf, food and friendship.

The month of March is full of special events. Our regular scheduled play on Tuesdays is at 9:00 a.m. except on the second Tuesday, March 14, when we have our general meeting at 10:00 a.m. in the Friendship Room followed by late play at noon. On this day, a tournament event is planned to raise money for the Sun Lakes Fire Department. It will include prizes, raffle and auction items.

There are three invitationals in March when some of our ladies will go to other clubs for a golfing event. They are Apache Wells – March 8, Shalimar – March 10 and Ironwood – March 22. The sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board.

An important date to mark on your calendar is the Awards Banquet on April 8 at 5:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room.
