October was quite busy for the worship community of Sun Lakes Lutheran Church. “Interpretation of God’s Word” is the theme of the series being led by Pastor Dale Hallberg. The group meets the second Wednesday of each month in the Chapel Center at 6:00 p.m.

On November 8 at the Chapel Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Sun Lakes Lutheran and Thrivent are co-hosting a free ice cream social for residents of the Sun Lakes communities. Howard Clark will be providing entertainment for the event. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know your neighbors and learn more of the upcoming events at the Chapel and Chapel Center.

A class for anyone desiring to become a member of Sun Lakes Lutheran Church, or anyone just wanting knowledge about the traditions and beliefs of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is invited to attend a “New Members Class” on November 16 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and November 18 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Sun Lakes Lutheran Church meets each Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the Chapel, followed by fellowship time in the Chapel Center.
