The February dinner meeting of the Sun Lakes Tennis Club was held on February 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sun Lakes Country Club. A wonderful dinner was followed by the monthly meeting. The March meeting will be at the Spring Fling on March 18. A busy month of tennis in February and March will keep all members busy. We had to cancel one event for weather and another for the Don Neu memorial tournament. Don was a long time tennis instructor at Cottonwood and well liked for his help to the Sun Lakes tennis community. That tournament was on February 3 and 4.

Coming up will be the Sunshine Tournament on February 11. On February 18, we will be hosting SunBird in a tournament. On February 25, we will travel to Cottonwood for a tournament. March 4 will find the Hot Dog Tournament with the master griller Ed Campion in charge. March 18 will be the March Matchups Tournament with the Spring Fling that evening. We will finish the year at Springfield on March 25 and the April 8 Remembrance Tournament. Wow, that is a busy tennis schedule. Oh yes, and we play every Monday morning with the men, every Wednesday morning with the women and Thursdays all mixed up.
