Donations to Chandler Food Bank

Thank you so much to the friends in Sun Lakes who so kindly donated non-perishable foods to be delivered to the Chandler Food Bank. There were cans, pasta and even spices. The food was donated the week of Thanksgiving by Juanita and Jolynn Alexander who were visiting from Chicago. The food bank employees were so grateful for the wonderful kind hearts of the Sun Lakes community. The food was given out at the Thanksgiving dinner.

Juanita has been collecting for several years, and Julia Norton began helping a couple years ago with flyers to our friends and neighbors in the Sun Lakes community. Juanita was so pleased with the donations that have been given and wanted to say “Thank You!”

We have so much to be grateful for, and to share what we can with ones who are less fortunate than we are is a blessing!
