The fourth annual Red Hat Sparkle State Convention was held on Saturday, February 28 at the Oakwood Country Club with over 200 members in attendance.

Any doubts that we may have had about the catering of our event were put to rest by the excellent service and delicious food that Oakwood Catering served. Our vendors were also very pleased with the cooperation and efficiency of their staff.

We can’t thank you enough for your cooperation and professionalism in making our annual event a huge success. Looking forward to planning next year’s convention soon.

Thank you to the Sun Lakes Fire Department for responding at 3:30 in the morning and taking me to the hospital, to the wonderful friends and neighbors for the prayers and good wishes as well as the wonderful food. I have had so many different meals I don’t know where to start. Thanks to our wonderful priests for coming to the hospital for both of us.

We have been doing well since Buss got home from the hospital. We could not have gotten through this without my daughters helping and especially Susan, who has moved in with us since I fell. Her family has done without her as well as her job.

Hopefully we are on the road to recovery.
