Rod “Babe” Thompson and Loren Boulanger are the Lucky Shot Pool Club 2014 fall tournament play-off winners. The playoffs feature matches between Pocket 1 and 2 winners during regular tournament play.

Thompson, Pocket 1 winner, defeated Fred Falconetti, Pocket 2 winner 7-1 for the 9-Ball championship. Boulanger, who won Pocket 2, edged Larry Stadler, Pocket 1 winner 5-4 for the 8-Ball title.

With their wins, Thompson and Boulanger qualified for the club year-end championship tournaments where they will meet winners of the winter and spring playoffs in a round-robin format. Final winners are crowned year-end champions.

Competition is now under way in the club’s winter tournaments featuring play in two 9-Ball and five 8-ball pockets.

Memberships are available for the club’s spring tournament running from March 1-April 10 and summer tournaments from June 1-July 10 and August 1-September 10.
