Important dates to put on your calendar:

March 9 – next second Wednesday social at 4:00 p.m. in Oakwood’s Lounge; Sue and Jay Edmondson are kind enough to be our greeters again.

March 16 – Board of Directors meeting at 4:00 p.m. at the Oakwood Clubhouse.

March 20 – Annual spring Potluck at the Poolside Cafe from 1:00-3:00 p.m. More information will be coming. R.S.V.P. to Steve Newman if you plan on attending and what you will be bringing. He can be reached at 309-826-6860 or e-mail at [email protected].

April 13 – Last second Wednesday social until fall in Oakwood’s Lounge at 4:00 p.m. Let’s have a great turnout!

Final B.O.D meetings: Wednesday, November 16 and Wednesday, December 20

All meetings are held in the Oakwood Clubhouse and begin at 4:00 p.m.

Landscaping Committee initiatives – March plantings and tree removal.

New program developed for our neighbors, Outreach Program. We are looking for volunteers within our community willing to help those in need. Meetings will be held to seek homeowner’s input in the development of this program. For more information contact Ila Kraayenbrink at 480-802-0595.

Important reminders:

We suggest homeowners walk around the outside of their property on a regular basis to look for missing tiles, water damage, exposed wood, insect nests, termite mud tunnels that go up to the foundation, irrigation leaks, deep stucco cracks, etc.

Report all non-emergency Property Care Requests (PCR) via the villas’ website under the Property Care tab. The site is www.villas37.org. Use the drop box on Carefree Way and complete form if you do not have e-mail.

Thank you, as always, to pet owners for cleaning up after your pets.

Pet owners, keep a close eye on your pet when outdoors. We have a coyote who is always looking for a snack!

Also, for both safety, and keeping with our CC and R’s, keep your garage door down when not in use.
