Want to have fun in your native language?

The Lions Clubs of Arizona, part of the world’s largest service organization, are hosting the Lions’ International Board of Directors October 5-8 in Phoenix. As Lions is truly international (in 209 countries and territories), some of the International Directors’ wives are not fluent in English. We’re searching for volunteers to translate in four languages to help these ladies during social, shopping and luncheon outings in the Phoenix area. The four needed languages are French, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese.

All expenses for luncheons and local travel will be paid by Lions, so this is an opportunity to meet and socialize with our international guests during four days of low key, enjoyable socializing and dining, from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Translators do not need to be Lions.

If you or anyone you know is fluent in any of those four languages and might be interested in participating in the fun please call or e-mail Carl Johannesen at 480-924-0737; e-mail [email protected] with your/their contact information.
