The Weeders Garden Club meets monthly to learn from informative speakers on all aspects of gardening. We also enjoy field trips to interesting places in the Valley. Whether you are new to garden clubs or have spent your life interested in growing things, we welcome you!

On Feb. 13, we welcome speaker Eric Olsen on the topic of Container and Raised Bed Gardening. Eric will focus on assorted options that gardeners have, besides putting plants directly in the earth. He will cover options that are available and the pros and cons for them, as well as how to maximize your available space and what growing mediums are ideal.

Weeders Garden Club will be presenting a Standard Flower Show “Celebrating the Beauty of the Desert” on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Solera Chandler Ballroom, 6360 S. Mountain Blvd., Chandler, AZ 85249. The Flower Show is open to the public from noon to 4 p.m. There is no admission charge. Weeders Garden Club meetings are the second Thursday of every month from September through May in the Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club, 25425 S. Sun Lakes Blvd. Social time begins at 9:30 a.m., and meetings start at 10 a.m. Please join us!
