A welcome to new Valley residents

As you settle in as new residents of our beautiful Valley, or have lived here for some time but are unaffiliated with any congregation, you will probably be looking for a spiritual connection to the community and your faith.

The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation in Chandler is a synagogue not just for residents of that small community. We are an established reform congregation with over 400 members that meets at the Sun Lakes All Faith Chapel on the second Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m. Members come from all parts of the Valley, including Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Maricopa, Glendale, Phoenix, Casa Grande and other locations.

Our esteemed Rabbi Irwin Wiener, D.D., is well known throughout Arizona and leads our congregation with wisdom and joy and spiritual guidance.

As we approach Rosh Hoshannah, our New Year of 5777, our congregation would like to invite you to visit us at our September 9 service. As you listen to our Rabbi speak and hear the beautiful prayers and songs by our renowned cantor and choir, we are sure you will find a congregation to call home. You will also find we offer reasonably priced membership dues which include High Holy Day tickets.

You can view additional information about us on our website at www.SLJC.org.

Please join us on September 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sun Lakes All Faith Chapel which is located in the Sun Lakes Country Club, Riggs Road and Sun Lakes Blvd.

After services you will be accompanied to the Oneg and, in addition to some wonderful desserts, you will have a chance to meet the Board, our Rabbi, and get to know the activities of the congregation.

For further information, please call Jeff Spear at 480-556-1284.

We look forward to your visit!
