Marian Theresa Spaeth of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on April 4, 2014, in the loving care of her daughter Jo Lynn in Colleyville, Texas. She was born in 1926 to Stella (Cesarz) and Joseph F. Stasiak. As a young girl, she loved to ice skate, go to hockey games and to the beach with her sister when their Dad could take them. As a teen-ager she loved to go dancing with her girlfriends at the Butterfly Ballroom in Springfield, Massachusetts, which is where she met Carl two weeks before Christmas in 1943. Marian was married for 63 years to her beloved husband Carl Delmar Spaeth who left this earth in 2007. Carl and Marian met while he was an aviation cadet in pilot training in Massachusetts in 1943. She devoted her life to helping others, first and foremost her family and later in life she became a Registered Nurse and worked until she retired in the late 1980’s. She is survived by her loving children Richard, Jo Lynn (Dennis) Golden and Meredith (Frank) Metzger. Marian is also survived by six dear grandchildren, Leslie Ann (Lee) Osborne, Christopher (Adi) Spaeth, Michael (Brianne) Spaeth, Amy (Ian) McHardy, Frank (Kelly) Metzger, Stephanie (Jason) Kopel; and five precious great-grandchildren, Lillian, Luke, Zayden, Abigail and Eleanor. She is already missed terribly by her family and all of her wonderful friends from Sun Lakes and the East Valley. Not only has this world lost a beautiful soul but it will never again experience some truly unmatched recipes for her apple pie, pierogi, golumpki, and the most amazing cinnamon rolls ever made. Marian and Carl are dancing in heaven to their favorite song, Always.
