It’s that time once again. The biggest welcome back party of the year is Neighbors Who Care’s fifth annual Fall Fair on Saturday, October 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 10450 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes. Our parking lot at the northeast corner of Riggs Road and Alma School Road will be rocking with fun, food and entertainment. Join with 1000 of your neighbors to enjoy the Sun Lakes Classic Car Show, listen to the music of the Dry Heat Pickers, play games, win prizes, marvel at the model train exhibit and visit the information tables of over 70 community organizations and local businesses. Popular events like the dunk tank will be back to provide a bath for your favorite community leaders. There will be activities for all ages (bring the kids). And don’t worry, we’ll have restrooms, disabled parking, shade, water and places to sit and relax.
We’ll be celebrating the completion of our 23rd summer providing essential help to your frail, disabled and homebound neighbors. We’ll also be celebrating your return to Sun Lakes and the East Valley from wherever you’ve been vacationing. We’re glad to see you back, ready for cool weather and good times.
Please come and help us commemorate the end of a hot summer, the return of the snowbirds and the services provided to the community by Neighbors Who Care and all of our partnering community organizations. Come on out to get fed, entertained and inspired and to learn about the services and benefits available in our community.
As always, if you need some help or if you have a little extra time to help your frail and homebound neighbors, contact us at Neighbors Who Care by calling 480-895-7133 or visit our neat new website, www.NeighborsWhoCare.com.
