John Harrill
Not only will Gillian Harrill graduate in May from Chandler High School in the top five percent of her class with a 4.5 GPA, she is also a fencing phenom. She is a national Division 1A women’s saber-fencing champion. In addition, she has won or placed in the top eight in international tournament events numerous times.
Among her other achievements, Gillian is an accomplished harpist and has performed at various events in the Phoenix area, including a concert at the Musical Instrument Museum. She also plays the French horn and was a member of her school bands and concerts.
Gillian is the daughter of Dr. Jason and Michelle Harrill of Chandler and the granddaughter of John and Helene Harrill of Sun Lakes. In the fall, Gillian will be going to the Ivy League Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, with a fencing scholarship.
