October 12 – Open House – Cottonwood – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. New to hiking? Learn from members of our Hiking Club about the fun of exploring the beauty of the Valley from up above.
October 26 – Open House – IronOaks – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Same Open House as above, different day.
November 1 – Welcome Back Picnic/Club Meeting – Friday, noon to 2 p.m., Oasis Ramada in Phase 1. Bring a side dish to share. The club will provide chicken. Special hike destination will be revealed at this time!
December 6 – Monthly Club Meeting – Friday 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Phoenix Room, Cottonwood
January 3 – Monthly Club Meeting – Friday 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Phoenix Room, Cottonwood
January 25 – Winter Potluck Social – Saturday, 5 p.m., Oakwood Poolside Café
February 7 – Monthly Club Meeting – Friday, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Phoenix Room, Cottonwood
February 25-27 – Annual Special Hike Trip – We explore hiking outside of the Phoenix area. If you’re interested and not already signed up, notify Sherrie Conner ([email protected]). Spaces are limited.

About our club: We hike Mondays and Wednesdays of each week, beginning November through April. Mondays we hike at three different skill levels (mellow, moderate, and motivated). Wednesdays is a single hike for moderate hiking skill level.
The club is a great way to spend time with others while seeing parts of the Valley and beyond that you might not get to see otherwise, like Woods Canyon Lake. We are a friendly, inclusive group that welcomes all able-bodied hiking enthusiasts!
