The Chordaires had an exciting rehearsal on October 3 with four new members and their director Marc Gaston all ready to begin working on the upcoming Christmas program called “Happy Holidays.” Sun Lakes Country Club is hosting this free public concert again on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Arizona Room. Chordaires look forward to sharing their Barbershop-style singing with family and friends, Sun Lakes residents, and the general public.
On Nov. 11, the Ambassadors, a smaller section of the Chordaires Chorus, will be singing at the Veterans Day breakfast at the Oakwood Ballroom and in the afternoon at the Veterans Day program at the Cottonwood San Tan Ballroom.
On Dec. 6, the Chordaires will be a part of the Cottonwood Christmas program, as we sing a couple of holiday songs at the end of their annual Christmas parade, around 7 p.m.
The Chordaires Show Chorus of Sun Lakes is a 501(c)(3) organization, and we accept donations at any of the performances. The money goes to support purchases of new music and costumes for the many shows that we perform around the Sun Lakes area. The Chordaires enjoy singing at local assisted living residences during the holidays, and occasionally will do a Flash Mob. The Chordaires look forward to seeing all of you at one or all of the performances coming up this holiday season.
