Ladies Community Chit and Chat Breakfast Group

Rose Pachura

The Ladies Community Chit and Chat Breakfast Group will be meeting on the second Wednesday of each month, and this month on Nov. 13, 2019, at Cottonwood Country Club in the Saguaro Room. Come early to network and register at 10 a.m. to meet new and former friends or stay after the meeting for more camaraderie. We start promptly at 10 a.m. for registration, hot buffet at 10:30 a.m. The meal price for breakfast is $11 pp. This price includes coffee, tea, and tip. My agenda starts promptly at 10:45 a.m. The program will be presented by one of our own, Dorothy Eberle who is also a member of the VFW, American Legion, and DAV Auxiliary for over 50 years, serving as Chaplin of the VFW Auxiliary for the past five years. Dorothy will be speaking on “Teaching Respect for Our American Flag.”

When the American flag has been folded and presented to a widow or family members at a funeral, you will understand the meaning of this wonderful ceremony as explained by our speaker Dorothy Eberle. Come and hear about the beautiful ceremony for our American flag. You will enjoy and learn from this. Included in this presentation will be Dr. Michael A. Herion, along with Dr. Mathew Hammond, both veterans who have now opened their own new office as ophthalmologists.

RSVP is needed for seating! Attendees will have to pay for their own breakfast. So come and brainstorm with us for a fun morning and help us celebrate. Start thinking about a subject for discussion needed in your personal and community life. All women are invited to attend. We want to learn about you, and you learn about us.

Meet and Greet: So, let’s talk! Share your ideas and talents with new friends and former friends. Talk about memories, accomplishments, family, or a loss. Find solutions to everyday problems, frustrations, and maybe even conquer updates on computer and technology usage and answers to trusts, health issues, and everyday difficulties and investment knowledge and home safety.

Bring your friends, neighbors, and relatives and come for a relaxing, fun-filled morning and go home inspired and uplifted and looking forward to coming back for another meeting.

Please make a reservation by the deadline for Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, for seating arrangements. All are welcome.
