From humble beginnings in early 2019, your Sun Lakes Ranger Company has grown from an initial founding group of five to a current membership of 27 Rangers and half a dozen applicants. Established to provide a visual deterrent to crime in our communities through regularly-scheduled patrols, the Rangers help create a safer Sun Lakes. Comprised of former local law enforcement, federal law enforcement, military, Coast Guard, and other highly-trained individuals, the Rangers are building trust by collaborating with our local HOAs and their individual patrol teams. In the past year, the Rangers have also worked alongside the Gila River Police Department and the Chandler Police Department, distributing face masks to those in need.
