The monthly meeting of Sun Lakes Garden Club will be on Tuesday, January 20 at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel Center, 9240 N. Sun Lakes Blvd. across from the Sun Lakes Country Club. Frederick Giese, a photographer, will be the speaker. Frederick will speak on photographing flowers and plants in your garden. Frederick lives in Sun Lakes and belongs to the camera club and has been a photographer for 40 years.
The December meeting was the annual Holiday Brunch. Each member brought a dish of her choice. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful variety of food. The Garden Club website will carry recipes of the delicious preparations.
Starting this year, the Sun Lakes Garden Club will meet regularly on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel Center. Anyone interested in how and what to grow in our desert is invited to attend as a guest.
