The first Monday of each month is our Out to Lunch. Due to COVID-19, the March Out to Lunch was canceled. We hope to resume in April.
The second Wednesday of each month is our book group, called Literary Ladies, on Zoom at 1:30 p.m.
These are the books we will be discussing:
April: The Last Kings of Shanghai, by Jonathan Kaufman
May: The Light of Days, by Judith Batalion
On the third Wednesday, we collect non-perishable food for JFCS (Jewish Family and Children’s Services) in various communities in the East Valley between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Our general meeting was Wednesday, March 23. A speaker from JFCS talked about the organization that Devorah has been supporting through food donations and the other services that they provide to our community.
Chick Flicks is our Movie group. The dates and movies vary each month but include a discussion of the film via Zoom.
