By the time you read this article, you will know who the candidates are for the General Election on Nov. 8.
The mission of the Sun Lakes Democratic Club is to help inform voters on crucial issues and candidates when they vote in November. To that end, the club will have meetings in September and October (second Monday of the month at 7 p.m.) to provide residents an opportunity to meet Democratic candidates running for office. The club will also be hosting a Candidate Forum on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 3 to 5 p.m., in the Arizona Room at the Sun Lakes Country Club for our Democratic candidates, so they can meet with voters.
In between these events, Democrats will be working hard to reach voters to inform them about Democratic candidates, how they stand on issues, and how they will work to solve them if elected to office.
Elections are for voters. It is the time when we can “speak” at the ballot box about what is important to us, what we want from leadership, and the problems we want to see solved. We are ready and invite you to participate in our wonderful election process.
