Psst … Can you feel it? Lower temps, nights perfect for walking, festivals, and mornings with coffee on the porch. It’s a great time to be in Arizona with warm days and cool nights. Let’s get out there and have some fun.
Each year in the fall, many of the Roadrunners return to the Sun Lakes area in time to attend the first meeting of the season. This year it was on Oct. 11. At that meeting, there were many happy reunions where folks shared stories, tips, and trials of their summer adventures. We all look forward to our season welcome back meeting on Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. for happy hour, with the meeting from 7 to 8 p.m.
Starting our season, we had a wonderful Club Open House with other clubs represented at Sun Lakes Country Club, where we had loads of fun meeting prospective members and talking to people with RV questions. Despite the warm weather, we were busy.
The Sun Lakes RV Club meets the second Tuesday of each month starting October, November, then January through May. Meetings take place in the Navajo Room at the Sun Lakes Country Club, with social time starting at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. For more information about the club and its activities, go to www.sunlakesroadrunner.com.
The Sun Lakes Roadrunners RV Club is all about fun travel, new adventures, good food, and great friends! The group enjoys many opportunities to see new sights, go on organized tours or explore on their own, dine out or cook at the campsite, and make many new friends.
Prospective members and visitors are always welcome. Come join the fun on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
