Unity Church of Sun Lakes is a New Thought Spiritual Church. Our prayers are affirmative, and we use affirmations and positive thinking to bring more of God’s good into our lives. We follow the teachings of Jesus as well as other Spiritual Masters, and we know that God’s love and abundance is everywhere present and dwells in all of us. Our Sunday service starts at 10 a.m. in the Arts & Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. Rev. Jeanne MacLaughlin gives us our lesson. Jeanne and Barb Horton are both professional singers called the Ya Yas. They sing on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. Both write fantastic songs. We will be closed in July and August but will return on the 8th or 15th of September. Have a safe and happy summer.
Unity World headquarters has purchased Spirituality & Health, a magazine founded 25 years ago dedicated to joyful living and helping readers to deepen their Spiritual life. Unity magazine is merging and blending with them and keeping many of our regular columnists, such as Sue Morter, Jacquie Fernandez, Ogun Holder, and Kelly Isola, while Spirituality & Health is adding Rabbi Rami Shapiro, Roadside Assistance for the Spiritual Traveler, and Sarah Bowen, animal chaplain. Katie Koontz will remain as editor of this Unity magazine, which started the Unity movement 135 years ago. It will now be named Spirituality & Health: a Unity Publication. It will be delivered to your mailbox sometime in June. There is nothing you need to do. Your subscription will continue seamlessly. We look forward to a fresh, new adventure in reading about health, wellness, the mind-body connection, and a “Toolbox” collection with products for a better life and in-depth articles about spiritual principles and practices. We’re merging, blending, and making new friends.

Church meets on Sunday at 10 a.m. in the Arts & Crafts Room of Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd.
Reiki: Meets Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Room A-2 of the Cottonwood clubhouse.
Prayer Partners: Meets on Zoom on Wednesday at 10 a.m. If you would like to join, email Julia at [email protected].
Metaphysical Study Group: Led by Sheila Taylor, meets in the Mirror Room every other Wednesday from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Drumming Circle: Led by Julia Norton on alternate Wednesdays with Sheila’s group (drums or other instruments will be provided).
