As the vibrant colors of fall begin to paint our landscapes, we are reminded of the beauty in change and the opportunity for reflection, renewal, and reconnection that this season brings. In many ways, fall mirrors our spiritual journey—an invitation to let go of the old and prepare for the new.
First Baptist Church Sun Lakes (FBCSL) invites you to do just that. As the snowbirds return and as new people move into Sun Lakes, make it a point to reach out to others in your community, and a great place to start is at FBCSL. We are offering a new lineup of Bible studies and activities for men and women. We have a new website look that reflects what and who we are. Check us out at www.fbcsl.org.
If you’re new to the community, the best place to start would be our “Get Involved” page. On this page, you’ll find a wide variety of Biblically based studies and activities. If you are a returning snowbird, welcome back.
Our newest Women’s study is the popular Experiencing the Heart of Jesus, by Max Lucado. Band of Brothers is highly popular with men from the community, and the Made of Metal will return in January. These are just a few things we offer. Check out the website for more information. Building relationships within our church community not only strengthens our bonds but also enriches our collective faith journey.
In this beautiful season of fall, let us embrace the opportunities for reflection, renewal, and a reconnection to God. Join us as we gather in gratitude, release what no longer serves us, and look ahead with hope and intention. Together, let us celebrate the rich blessings of this season and the journey we share in faith. FBCSL welcomes you. Visit the website www.fbcsl.org for more information or call the office at 480-895-1088.
As we move towards the end of the year, let this fall season be a time to set intentions for the months ahead. What do you hope to achieve in your spiritual life? What areas do you wish to explore more deeply? Setting aside time for prayer and contemplation can help clarify your path forward.
