Join us for the first time hosting Rocky Mountaineer at Cottonwood Country Club in the Saguaro Room at 1 p.m. (note the time change). This will be an afternoon event with tea and cookies.
August Bont, district manager for Rocky Mountaineer, will be visiting for the first time. Train travel is becoming very popular as folks are continuing to change up their adventures. Rocky Mountaineer is in British Columbia and Alberta, so you must come and hear all the options. You can leave Vancouver and travel all the way to Calgary Alberta, get off the train, attend the world-famous Calgary Stampede, and fly home non-stop on WestJet.
Rocky Mountaineer also entered the USA a few years ago with rail, starting in Denver and ending in Moab, Utah, or reverse.
Partnering with August is Art Riviera with Mayflower Tours. This company partners with Rocky Mountaineer to add optional land travel. He will have brochures with land for North America.
There are several group outings, like the Albuquerque Balloon Festival.
Vic Hermann will be hosting the Savvy Travelers in March. Ladies from Dream Cruise Adventures will be there to help, Christine and Elizabeth. Feel free to ask questions of them. Tami Bogdanoff and I are going to be travelling but will have our phone and computers if you wish to make a booking. Christine will also be available to help you.

Aug. 18, 2025: Oceania Cruises, 10-night Alaska on the larger ship Riviera. We have gratuities included, culinary experience, $250 onboard credit, excellent pricing, veranda is starting at $4,750 per person. This ship has floor-to-ceiling windows in their Ocean View rooms starting at $4,085.
Oct. 26,2025: Oceania’s new ship Allura, 15 days Montreal to Miami, overnight in Montreal, Quebec City, Saguenay, Sydney, Nova Scotia, and Halifax; stops in Boston, Newport, Rhode Island; overnight in New York City; Charleston, S.C. Gratuities included, wine, beer, and champagne with lunch and dinner.
March 17, 2026: Oceania Marina, 21-day voyage, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Miami, includes five days on the Amazon River. The cost of $342 a day is a great price. Specialty dining included, gratuities included, $250 onboard credit.
July 13 to July 27: Explora Journeys, Greece and Croatia, new ship, all suites starting at 377 square feet with 850 passengers, nine culinary experiences, gratuities and adult beverages included. Our contract for the next 90 days will give us a ton of discounts and solo rates for each segment. We have six couples and four solo travelers booked so far. Join us on a new luxury ship.
July 13, 2026: Viking Cruises, sail the Douro River, 10 days starting with two nights in Lisbon. Wonderful wine country and picturesque villages. Prices start at $4,599. Coach air for $999. Hosted by Vic and Joanna Hermann and Jim and Peggy Hall.
