Congratulations to Sun Lakes Posseman Stephen Brown for passing the rigorous training to become a Qualified Armed Posse to carry a firearm while on duty. This is a several-weeks’ course and involves multiple classes and hands-on firearm training.
Stephen joined the Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse in 2022, and he is currently the Posse Training Mentor. His dedication to the Posse and the Sun Lakes community is outstanding. He has a full-time job but is always available to answer the call in the Sun Lakes community. Stephen patrols the Sun Lakes community area on Sundays.
Prior to joining the Posse, Stephen was part of the Search and Rescue Team with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
