Marv Jensen

IronOaks Tennis Club (IOTC) is home to nearly 300 members, many of whom are celebrated players. One such member, Marv Jensen, is a USTA-rated 3.5-level player who has won the USTA National 65 and over tournament and a total of 10 national USTA tournaments. He’s won matches on both hard and clay courts in Orlando, Fla.; Indian Wells, Calif.; and Palm Springs, Calif. He also won on clay courts in Hot Springs, Ark.
Marv has been playing tennis for 55 years, stringing racquets for 45 years, and has been a member of IOTC for 16 years. He and his wife Beth live in Maricopa and officiate basketball and volleyball games at a high level. Both have been chosen to officiate the State Championships in Washington and Arizona. Marv also coached varsity tennis in Washington State for more than 20 years and one year in Arizona and took both schools to state.
IOTC is proud to have such a stellar player and member in the club.
