On April 22 a longtime volunteer for the Sun Lakes Posse Medical Equipment Loaner Program, Betty Sanders, was recognized by the Sun Lakes Posse and her fellow volunteers. Betty has been volunteering with the Posse for over 14 years. She has loved greeting the residents of Sun Lakes and hearing their stories while helping so many community members with her years of service. At 98 years young, Betty is retiring from volunteer duties but will remain an active member in the community where she has resided since 2002. It was hard for her to make this decision, but she felt it was time.
Commander Lloyd and the rest of the Medical Equipment Loaner Program staff had a gathering to send her off in style. She was presented with a certificate to validate her time at the Posse.
Betty, thank you for your service to the Sun Lakes community.
