Yes, it’s true! Local resident Doug Wegener scored an ace on two different holes in the same round! It was an 8 iron on the 6th hole at Sun Lakes Country Club first, followed by another ace on the difficult 17th hole with a 7 iron. His amazing achievement was witnessed by his wife Judy Wegener and fellow members Cat and Charlie LaJune. Way to go, Doug! Congratulations!
